What's your gig...your story?

I would love to make it to my 200th quilt this year. I only have 150 to go, that's a piece of cake, I love cake.

What is your current relationship to money?

I take 20 dollars and turn it into a priceless work of art. I never sell them, it would seem dirty. It costs about 20 dollars to make a quilt. That's just cause the fluff I stuff em with is so expensive. Without the fluff, I could make a quilt for 7 dollars, or less. It's the number I'm after. How many people can I delight in my artistic passion? Fortune follows fame, Money is what my handlers will deal with. Isn't that what you guys do? Funny where this quilting thing leads me. Who are your heros?

willy wonka john travolta debra winger elton john the band America my cousin, christina who drums really cute , and my kids, and my great uncle bill byrge, a movie star, and his sister, my grandma, who I was making my second quilt ever for and she died. her son, bill byrge's nephew was my father Earl Kennedy. He passed june 10 and he now is in my heart. Daddy looked just like his uncle and I look just like Daddy. I make funny faces iferkennedyquilts youtube

What are your favorite books?

What's your biggest dream?

To make over a thousand quilts, and to have tea with Gene Wilder and Elton John. There must be a piano in the room and they will love me, I promise.

What kind of music do you listen to?

this is the secret to my sewing. I plan to name the quilts after my favorite songs. I adore words and they helped me, for I was a flower in the attic, I knew her story she wanted out of that house, elton john america john conlee j d souther eagles james taylor my cousin chrissy

What things are most important to you in life?

to make sure my son, Free Strong, born may 4, 2004 , is always raptured in the enchantment of dreams, the kind children show you if you watch. I don't stand in his way, and he says that I make quilts and he wants to kill zombies he told me the worst knock knock joke I've ever heard. Knock knock,,,,, who's there?" Now we Party.......... he said that and I got chills. after knock knock I don't want to hear NOW WE PARTY that is funny. creepy. cut head off is less creepy. better than that party mr. knock knock has planed and I won't answer my son's knock ever now
