Where do friends and business meet. when it comes to charging fees? Or, chaging for what we're worth, even when it's a friend.

This is really a question to all as I would love to know what people do and think about this. I was at a women's Equinox overnight party; had a great time, made some new friends. Several of them have followed up with me to order therapeutics (I am a Health & Wellness educator and nurse) which I did as well as spent extensive time researching and preparing info for them, because they asked. Money for those services was not discussed (I don't think I realized the extent to which they needed info) although therapeutics have been ordered.

In my gut, I feel that I deserve to be compensated for my work, although feel a discomfort in asking. That is me; it's easier not to talk about money and I enjoy doing what I do. Truth is, I am financially stretched right now and could really use the money!
